The Adult Mental Health Program provides supportive
services to adults age 18 and over with severe and
persistent mental illness. The needs of people served are
diverse with a broad continuum of care, from outpatient
assessment to inpatient hospitalization, with a strong focus
on community-based psychosocial rehabilitation.

Mental Health

Often, it can be a challenge to understand why a child is consistently unhappy, angry, aggressive, or anxious, or why a child persistently behaves in ways that are not acceptable. If your child is having emotional or behavioral difficulties, Children’s Services at Tri-County offers a broad range of resources for children with adjustment and behavioral disorders.

Expanded Child and
Youth Clinic, Huntsville

Tri-County's Expanded Child and Youth Mental Health Clinic in Huntsville is now open. Services include Initial Evaluation and Intake, Psychiatric Evaluation, Medication Management, Nursing, Therapy, Skills Training, Wraparound Case Management, and Family Partner Services. The address is 7045 Hwy 75, Huntsville, 77340.

Now Open
Cleveland Service Facility

Tri-County's new Cleveland Service Facility is now open! Services include Initial
Evaluation and Intake, Psychiatric Evaluation, Medication Management, Nursing,
Therapy, Skills Training, Wraparound Case Management, Family Partner Services,
IDD Day Programming and IDD Testing. Coming in late 2025, Outpatient Youth and
Adult Substance Use Disorder Services. The new service location is at 402 Liberty
Street, Cleveland Texas 77327.

Crisis Services

Crisis Services provides crisis intervention, assessment, and referral for voluntary and involuntary psychiatric hospitalization. Crisis services can be accessed through any of the mental health clinics in all 3 counties (Liberty, Montgomery, and Walker). For crisis services, individuals should contact the crisis line (800-659-6994) or call 911 (for life-threatening emergencies).

IDD Services

Tri-County offers a variety of services to individuals with qualifying intellectual and developmental disabilities and related conditions. Offered services include case management, day habilitation, supported employment, community support, autism services, home and community-based services, and more.

Tri-County offers person-centered, trauma informed services focused on the promotion of sustained recovery from substance use and enhanced quality of life for the individuals we serve. We utilize various therapeutic modalities and interventions while adhering to our empirically validated, evidence based curriculum with proven outcomes.

Veterans
Services

Veterans Services are available to anyone who has served in the United States military and their families. Care coordination, peer support, referrals, and various grants are available regardless of benefit status.

Services

Tri-County Behavioral Healthcare is now recognized as a Certified Community Behavioral Clinic (CCBHC) by the State of Texas. CCBHCs are designed to provide integrated, culturally sensitive treatment and recovery support for adults and families with behavioral health needs, trauma, and chronic diseases.
